Introduction.
Valenture Institute partners with the world’s leading education institutions to evolve what it means to ‘go’ to school, by transforming physical limitations into digital possibilities. The Valenture Institute engaged with iMod Digital towards the beginning of 2021 to discuss their need to involve an agency to assist them with the launch of The University of Cape Town High School.
We were commissioned to manage their Search Engine Optimisation and Pay Per Click marketing on Facebook and Google.
Success Drivers
With this being the launch of UCT Online High School, nothing had been put in place and it was up to us to create all the accounts, set up lead tracking, figure out budgets and so the list goes on, within a tight timeline.
- Setup – We quickly setup all the necessary accounts including Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads and the likes. We linked them all up in order to track leads with cross-domain tracking and created advanced Google Data Studio reports to assist with managing the campaigns and being able to look at performance with ease.
- SEO – We assisted the development team with implementing all the critical factors required to launch a new website and gain visibility quickly. On top of this, we worked with the PR agency to maximise the SEO benefit from any releases. Several other important post-launch tactics were used to boost the website ahead.
- PPC – Incredibly careful planning lead to this being a great success. We used detailed control sheets to launch multiple campaigns targeting specific audiences across the Google and Facebook network’s. This included Google Search, the Google Display Network, YouTube and Facebook.
- Other – Being involved in regular meetings, we were able to assist the creative team with how to approach banner creation that works across the different platforms, we shared regular insights that could be used on other channels and whatever else we were able to bring to the table.
All of these actions were done against detailed keyword research, competitors investigations and comparison against previous benchmarks provided by The Valenture Institute.

Following all the growth over the years, the most recent results are:
- The cost per lead was reduced by 9x.
- The website ranks at the top for the most competitive terms in the market niche.
