Richter Lures is an Australian business specialising in handcrafted game fishing lures, casting lures and terminal tackle.
In August 2019 Richter Lures approached iMod Digital to bring life to their Instagram account. In today’s digital realm, customers have once again reverted back to looking for the “humanity” in the businesses they decide to engage with. The best way to accomplish this and to connect with possible customers online is through social media.

With over 1 billion active users, Instagram provides brands the opportunity to reach their audience with rich visuals in the form of images and videos.

Richter Lures is a product-based business for a niche market with a dedicated game-fishing community making Instagram the perfect platform to reach their audience.

Objectives

Before our involvement, it was clear to us that Richter Lures already had great content on Instagram. High-quality photographs of fishing expeditions, award-winning catches, beautiful products, and more is what makes up the account.

So, where do we fit in?

Our primary objective was to enable Richter Lures to add sophisticated and non-intrusive branding to their content by themselves, making their posts easily recognizable and building their authority as experts in their industry.

Deliverables

For Richter Lures, we delivered a complete custom “Instagram Toolkit” which consisted of the following:

• 20+ Post topics which can be reused, for example, “Catch of the Week”.
• Full 1-year posting schedule including post-types, topics, national and international holidays.
• Design web-app account set-up.
• A full suite of custom design templates for each post topic
• Custom recorded 6-episode video course in design, using our templates, and design software.
• Instagram Shopping guide.
• Enable staff without design experience to create imagery easily and time-effectively.

A solution made up of the above deliverables empowers businesses to create an “agency-level” social media presence without the costs and red-tape of a retainer.
