Although this isn't a typical Teaching Tuesday post, it's quite a hot topic of discussion today so we felt we would share it.
The Internet was outraged when Twitter removed it's star for favourite and replaced it with a heart. Twitter announced this change today and we get the feeling they might not stick on it based on the harsh feedback they've received.
Although the Internet has indeed screamed blue murder at Twitter, the Twitter account has not been updated nor has their blog, so right now it appears as though they're holding tightly onto their decision.
This gave us a little chuckle:
We have no doubt that the Internet will calm down and there's a good chance hearts will be accepted but it's going to be interesting watching things over the next couple of days.
