Have you ever wondered whether there's a way to store all the tweets that you're mentioned in to a specific place, like a spreadsheet? Scrolling through timelines to find specific tweets is quite a nightmare and using timelines to analyse your mentions isn't very useful, but if you could have all your mentions in a spreadsheet, you could analyse the information and pull valuable insight from it. With IFTTT (If This Then That), you can set up a recipe to do just this and it's nice and easy to do: Once you've logged into your IFTTT account, simply click to create a new recipe and follow these steps: Step 1. Choose Trigger Channel: Twitter. Step 2. Choose a Trigger: "New mention of you". Step 3. Create Trigger button. Step 4. Click "That". Step 5. Choose Action Channel: Google Drive. Step 6. Choose an Action: Add row to spreadsheet. Step 7. Configure your options accordingly. Step 8. Create Action button. Step 9. Create Recipe button. Done! It's as simple as that. You'll now have a Google Document with all your mentions neatly stored in one place. If you think about it, there are a great deal of combinations available to you, by choosing a different Trigger, you could store a lot of different pieces of information whilst you're in bed asleep! 😉 Enjoy this recipe!
